While we’ve been doing some large-scale remodels lately with lots to show on the gram, but less to showcase here so far, we were able to squeak in this cute powder room right before the holidays. It was a 90’s builder grade powder, with chair rail height wainscoting and a deep burgundy wall color. Very on trend for the late 90’s early 2000’s, but needed a refresh. The client picked a restoration hardware vanity and then wanted a dramatic granite top to match the other bathrooms in the house. Then we did a herringbone wall tile in marble that went up the back wall to create more drama in the small space. The rest of the walls went lighter and we removed a soffit to give a bit more headspace. Topping it off with mixed metal details in a black widespread faucet, and brass lighting and mirror.
