Black & Gold – Phase I
We’ve spent the last 5 months on a light commercial project that is near and dear to our hearts, the Valor Soccer Corporate offices. They purchased the building in late Summer of 2022 and went from 800sqft to over 5000. With lots still left to be accomplished, the main goal was to be able to get them in the office space enough to be able to work per usual.
Some long nights and days for us and our crews made this dream a reality and we got them moved in with 1-day to spare on their existing lease. The club’s overall aesthetic is black and gold and we worked hard to achieve this look without being cartoonish. We added in two executive offices, a partition wall to create a lobby space and then created an open-concept group work space for flex employees to utilize.
We also came up with some ideas of creating some partition ‘grow walls’ between corporate employees giving the sense of privacy and space without the standard cubicle layout and stuffy feel that comes with this typical office treatment.
This space welcomes creativity, collaboration and overall fun as soon as you walk in the door and we’re thrilled with the direction it’s taking.
Alongside of doing the interior design work, we’ve also commissioned some of our local talent to create the cool new 3-dimensional reception signage and just finalized the new exterior signage for the building. While lots left in the Phase II of the project, including a green room, community hang out space, full kitchen and retail storage, the beginnings of the first floor are hitting the nail on the head.
